For the past number of years at Christmas time, ISL Grade 6/7 students go to a Sherpa location to caroling sing for the residents and employees, and this year is no exception!
The project is a collaboration between Music and Service as Action. Students worked intensively for two weeks on their singing abilities!
Sherpa is a home and care center for people with disabilities, with locations all over the region of Het Gooi. With approximately 1,500 employees and 500 volunteers, Sherpa provides services to approximately 1,400 clients with an intellectual and/or physical disability.
By bringing some Christmas cheer and the joy of music to everyone at Sherpa, we hope to get a little closer to the true spirit of the holiday season.
